Bova UK Case Study

“The packaging needed to be sustainable and strong, Test Valley have been able to put together exactly what we were looking for”

Test Valley Packaging have been working closely with the Bova UK team to provide sustainable, bespoke packaging solutions. Lizzie Barnard, Marketing Manager at Bova said “when thinking of packaging we want to have it so it’s easy to use easy to open and that it gets to our customers in the state we want it to”.

Bova describe the pharmaceutical industry as “a massive impact to the environment” and that “they have to do everything they can to reduce environmental impact and be sustainable”. Test Valley are a UK leading packaging supplier that thrives on innovation and sustainability. When working with Bova we wanted to bring strong and reliable packaging but also something that could bring their carbon emissions down and support their ethos on sustainability. That’s why we introduced Hexcel Wrap, our paper bubble wrap that is manufactured here in our Andover site. This allowed Bova to remove any plastic packaging they used and improve the protection of medical supplies being sent all over the country.

Along with bespoke seal strip cartons that are made to fit various types of products, Lizzie said “We approached Test Valley to come up with sustainable ideas but we also needed it strong”, “We have been able to pick up the phone, have a chat with you – even if someones on holiday we know their will be another person available anytime we need them.” Communication is key when designing bespoke packaging, that’s why we dedicate ourselves to offer 1st class customer care to all our customers.
