Paper strapping is a paper alternative polypropylene plastic strapping to strap and bundle parcel and products in an environmentally way. Conventional polypropylene strapping is recyclable but in reality, it rarely does. With the paper strapping being made of paper biodegrades quickly when in landfill or when it isn’t disposed of properly.

Paper strapping is deigned to be used with automatic or semi-automatic strapping machines. The strappings requires less energy to apply than its plastic counterparts and will work in the same machines with the same settings.

Polypropylene Hand Strapping for manual application, available in various thicknesses and strengths and is applied using a tensioner and sealed using plastic or metal buckles.

Polypropylene Machine Strapping is wound on a cardboard core. Suitable for all semi and fully automatic strapping machines. Resistant to abrasion, moisture, chemicals, ageing and scuffing yet flexible enough to mould over edges and rough surfaces – making it ideal for shipping and export.

We supply static and mobile strapping dispenser trolleys, tensioners, sealers and combination tools. if you have a high output of products that need strapping, then we can supply friction weld tools which are battery operated.

This damage reduction product is designed to spread pressure caused by tight plastic strapping. This product is known to reduce breakages from plastic strapping digging into cartons or delicate surfaces.

Woven Polyester Strapping has very high tensile strength and is more absorbent to dynamic stress. It can be retensioned if the load settles and has no sharp edges to affect the load.

This strap is much lighter and easier to handle than steel strapping and it very versatile and can be used in multiple ways on virtually any material.

Does require protective clothing to use.

Steel strapping/banding reels are mainly used to help secure items on pallets or on wooden cases. The strapping is easy to use when being used in conjunction with specialist tools that are available to order through Test Valley Packaging. This is the toughest type of strapping for the most demanding industrial jobs.
