An alarming 4% of goods are damaged whilst travelling on a pallet, due to low quality stretch film or incorrectly wrapped pallets. The current solution to this is to give the pallet an extra few layers, or have the drivers slow their speed… With the Plastic Packaging Tax and the importance of lowering carbon emissions at its highest, these solutions are no longer viable.

Why switch to Raptor Wrap?

The way that we construct our Nanofilms ensure that they are up to any challenge. We start with 55 individual Layers of film that are latticed together with laser precision to create our super strong, super durable pallet wrap films.

These Nano layers enable our product to maintain its high puncture resistance whilst possessing the capability to stretch up to 400%. This means for every 1 meter of film that you start with you can stretch to achieve 5 meters of Stretched product. This ensures the best economy in the market today.

Case Study: Mole Valley & Raptor Wrap

Our expectation of a pallet wrap is simple, and that is that it does the job! – pallets arrive at their end destination in the same condition that they left the warehouse. We are of course looking for value for money and also to use as little plastic as possible. The product must also be readily and consistently available from our supplier.

The wrap we were using previously was performing well and so we were not in need of change from that perspective, but we found that it was too expensive, and we seemed to be using a lot plastic.

Since switching to Raptor Wrap we have not compromised on performance and would say that it is probably performing even better than our previous product. The big difference comes in the cost and reduction in plastic.
